Here’s a nice little surprise for your Tuesday morning.  The folks over at Metromix were able to nab some pretty amazing screenshots from the latest installment in the Resident Evil series.  Looking at these images, I’d say that Resident Evil 5 is going to give Arkham Asylum a run for its money as the slickest looking game of 2009.

Nice! cant wait. Although i was excited when the 1st few trailers came out and the pistol Chris was using looked like it could be a 1911. Im a little tired of the M92 Berreta. It would be nice for the 1911 to be a common pistol rather then listed as a “Magnum” as it has been in previous RE titles. The ammo for the 1911 in RE4 was limited and it had that stupid giant laster on top of the gun like it one Arnold used in the original Terminator. I personally prefer a Smith and Wesson 1911 .45ACP as my side arm. it would be great if the 1911 was supplied with more ammo and just made a bit less powerful to save room for the REAL magnums. .45 ACP is much more powerful then a 9mm, but hardly qualifies as a Magnum. The Magnum should be a .357 or even a Desert Eagle .50.
