Pirates of the Cursed Seas Scavenger Pack
Pending Release date: 11/5/08

WizKids ‘Pirates of the Cursed Seas’ may be the most epic game that you’re not playing right now. This constructable miniature (PocketModel) tabletop game has been around for several years and will be seeing its latest release next month with the ‘Savage Shores’ expansion set.  Available in Scavenger Pack boxes, this set will allow players to add to their fleets with a variety of sealed packs, exclusives and premium ten-mast ships!  Over the last few days, images and descriptions of some of the ships included in this new set have found their way online.

Here’s a look at a few of the ships you can add to your fleet next month:

Cannibal King: A two-masted, 13 point Pirate catamaran.

Maui’s Fishhook: An English ship that features a unique (and as yet unexplained) hook/crane mechanic.

Valeros: A nice addition to any Spanish fleet, this Turbine ship features a nice cargo hold and decent cannons.

In addition to these ships, players will be able to construct two ten-mast ships by collecting a total of six mega cards.  Each Scavenger Pack will contain one mega card.  You can find additional information on the upcoming ‘Savage Shores’ release over on the WizKids official site or this article at ICV2.
