Later this year Playmates Toys will be unleashing a bunch of toys from the upcoming film Terminator Salvation on collectors and toy fans alike. Below are the photos of the prototypes that have been making the rounds on the Internet, which could be considered to contain spoilers. Proceed at your own risk. The initial offerings will come in three different sizes, known details as follows:
10 Inch Figures:
This set of four, which includes Marcus Wright and three Terminators, will be fully articulated and come with multiple accessories. Also, the Terminators will have LED eyes.
3.75 Inch Figures:
Currently expected to consist of six figures, this line will see representations of Marcus Wright, John Connor and more Terminators of varying configurations. These will also be fully articulated and include multiple accessories.
6 Inch Figures:
Again, a set of six and, again, fully articulated, this proposed set of six is expected to be similar to the 3.75 inch figures in the characters that are depicted. And the Terminators will have light-up eyes.
This looks like some highly details figures and should make a worthy addition to any collection. As always, we’ll have more info for you as we get it, so please check back.

I don’t know about this line. I respect Playmates for giving the Terminator license a shot, but these figures don’t look good. The 6″ scale Terminator has already been done to perfection by McFarlane and these do not look like they come anywhere close. I am interested in the vehicles though… perhaps a 6″ scale Harvester?
