Forget March 6th, May 8th or July 17th. The film you will really want to see this year premieres on April 3rd. Alien Trespass seems to take everything I’ve ever loved about corny, hokey 1950′s sci-fi films and serves it all up in one film. Check out the trailer below and if you don’t love this film by the end of it, then you are truly a soulless automaton. This is a film not adapted from a comic book or a children’s book or even a re-imagining of a television series. This is an original story written by James Swift and Steven Fisher and is a loving homage to the schlocky 50′s sci-fi that many of us spent our youths marveling over. Producer/director R. W. Goodwin (The X-Files) brings the proper look and feel of the era, but now in glorious color! With that in mind and a cast that includes Eric McCormack, Jenni Baird, Dan Laurie and Robert Patrick, I eagerly await April 3rd.
