This January, Lionsgate prepares to take vampires in a whole new direction with the new film Daybreakers.
Says the studio: Two-time Academy Award nominee® Ethan Hawke plays Edward Dalton, a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.
Says Joe after watching the trailer: Might this be the Blade Runner of vampire films? Possibly not, but with an amazing twist on the bloodsuckers, a top notch cast and a stylish look I’m ready to buy my ticket now. Watch the trailer and get ready for January 8th.
