HBO sent over the latest video for The Pacific, this one showing not only some great behing the scenes footage, but also featuring interviews with Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Gary Goetzman, and Tony To. The Pacific is the long-awaited companion piece to the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers. Whereas the previous series focused on the European Theater of Operations during World War II, The Pacific gives us a view of what occurred in the Pacific Theater. Enjoy the video!

THE PACIFIC: The epic ten-part miniseries event tracks the intertwined journeys of three U.S. Marines – Robert Leckie (James Badge Dale), Eugene Sledge (Joe Mazzello) and John Basilone (Jon Seda) – across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theater during World War II. THE PACIFIC follows these men and their fellow Marines from their first battle with the Japanese on Guadalcanal, through the rain forests of Cape Gloucester and the strongholds of Peleliu, across the bloody sands of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, and finally to their triumphant but uneasy return home after V-J Day. The HBO Miniseries presentation of a Playtone and DreamWorks production is executive produced by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, the producing team behind the Emmy®- and Golden Globe-winning 2001 HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers.” Hanks and Goetzman also executive produced the HBO miniseries “John Adams,” which won a record-breaking 13 Emmys® in 2008. Debuts March 2010.
