Add Fuel To ‘Monster Commute’

For over a year, Daniel m. Davis has been creating one of the shiniest, well-designed web-comics on the ‘net, and as Beastio the daemon, Chadworth the robot, and Kip the pumpkin-headed golem, continue their misadventures through the hellish world of Monstru, Davis is planning to self-publish the first volume of ‘Monster Commute’ stories. But first, he needs your help.

Davis is trying to raise $5,000 before the end of January to cover most of the book’s costs, and he’s doing it in very cool fashion. Head over to the ‘Monster Commute’ Book Drive, and you can donate from $5 and up — and get really cool stuff in the process, including a copy of the book when it’s released.

You may be thinking to yourself, ‘Self, why would I pay for something that I can read for free?’ And if you are foolishly asking that question, you’ve  likely never seen Davis’ Steam Crow booth rock a comic convention. Davis and his wife Dawna create some of the coolest and imaginative monster-based swag, like bottles of poison and an overwhelmingly awesome supply of pins and prints.

The cover has already been released, and if it’s not enough to reassure you of how great it’ll look on your bookshelf, the collection will also include original material, like Monstru facts, and other artists’ take on Davis’ monstrous characters.
