Dreamworks has released the first image from the upcoming animated sequel Shrek Forever After. The fourth film featuring Shrek the ogre will be released on May 21st and stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, Paul McCartney, Julie Andrews, Eric Idle, Justin Timberlake, John Lithgow, Amy Sedaris and many others. The rumored plot involves the trickster Rumpelstiltskin sending the big green one to an alternate reality that not only allows for the return of the likes of Lord Farquaad, but features such nightmares as a genius-intillect Donkey and the fact that Shrek and Fiona never met. Shrek must unravel this twisted reality and restore things as they should be. We will be bringing you more on this film as we get closer to the release date, so stay tuned.
