Now that the Doctor Who special episode “The End Of Time, Part Two” has aired on BBC America, the whole world is now in the era of the eleventh Doctor. It was a sad, yet fitting end to have the tenth Doctor meet his demise saving one arguably cosmically insignificant life, but he wouldn’t have been the Doctor we all know and love had he not saved Wilf. We have a few treats for you in this article, the first of which is a special video featuring David Tennant. This video will be featured in the five-disc Doctor Who: The Complete Specials in stores on February 2nd on both DVD and Blu-ray, which brings together all five action-packed specials that bid farewell to David Tennant.

Here’s another video of David discussing his departure from the series and saying goodbye to not only the character, but also his co-workers.

Next, here’s the now-famous scene featuring the tenth Doctor going not so quietly into that good regeneration and the eleventh being born giddily into fire.

Lastly, here’s a glimpse of what we can look forward to starting this Spring and the full series debut of Matt Smith. Daleks and vampires and River Song, oh my!

Stay tuned to Pop Culture Zoo for more Doctor Who including an overview of the tenth Doctor’s reign, a look at the DVD set of all the 2009 Specials and more sneak peeks at the 2010 series!

Thank you for this. David can rest assured that the whole show was very emotional.

And regarding the trailer, well, I’ve analyzed nearly every clip, and I have to say, I think Matt Smith might be ok. :D
