Duchovny not to play Doctor (Doctor Who that is)

With the uncertainty surrounding David Tennant’s future as a Time Lord, David Duchovny has voiced his desire not to play Doctor Who, Now Magazine reports. The X Files star is a professed fan of the iconic BBC series, “I love Doctor Who and I remember the first one, which was wonderful in its low-tech quality.”

Yet, he would rather play a bad guy.

‘Who’s the bad guy? The Dalek? OK, I’ll play him,” Duchovny says.
